The Greek government has seen a massive surge in its support. More than 70% of all voters have said they agree with its decision to put forward alternative proposals for resolving the financial crisis. There was strong support across parties – even amongst the conservative as well communist party. This was further backed up with 75% believing that the government was sincere and would follow through with its program of action and in its negoatiations. Approximately 60% of respondents believed that the clash with creditors would drag on for e period of weeks.
The results are from a survey conducted by the Macedonia University on behalf of Sky TV.
